HIMACHAL PRADESH FOREST DEPARTMENT

 Recruitment of Forest Guards on contract basis

Applications are invited for filling fill up 205 posts of Forest Guards on contract basis through Direct Recruitment on the prescribed proforma at Forest Circle Level. The recruitment will be held at different Circle offices i.e. at Bilaspur, Chamba, Dharmsala,Hairpur, Kullu, Mandi, Nahan, Rampur, Shimla, WL Shimla, WL Dharmsala and National Park,Shamshi, Kullu. 

Eligibility/Criteria

1. The candidate must be a citizen of India and should be a Bonafide Himachali. 

2. The candidate must have passed matriculation exam from recognized Education 

Board. 

3. The candidate must have his/her name registered in Employment Exchange in HP. 

4(a) The minimum age of candidate as on 01-01-2013 should not be less than 18 years 

and not more than 27 years. 

(b) In case of ST/SC/OBC minimum age relaxation up to 5 years would be admissible. 

(c) The candidates full filling the minimum of prescribed physical standards and Physical 

Efficiency Test would only qualify for written and Interview depending up on Marks 

obtained at various levels of recruitment process. 

(d) A merit list of participating candidates will be draw for taking written/viva voce 

depending on their combined merit. Intimation in this regard will be given separately 

during this process.
